Dear friends, it's been quite a long time since I last released a solo piano track, but the day has finally come! I'm excited to present you "Distant" - a melodic solo piano composition which I wrote back in 2018, but It wasn't until now that I was ready to release it as it is now, so it has come a long way.
"Distant" - as the title and the vibe of the piece suggest, is about yearning for something or someone distant, or at least that's what I felt while I was composing it and that's what I feel every time I play or listen to it. May it be a distant lover, a soulmate, a dear person, or simply something distant that you're missing and you're yearning for, I'll leave that up to your personal choice!
I recorded this track in my home studio and it is the very first track I have ever recorded in my studio ever since I'd set it up back in March this year.

There's a number of people who have helped me tremendously to make this track sound the way it does now. The mastering and EQ was done by a Canadian-born American pianist and composer Michael Logozar who did an amazing job and was always there to answer all my questions, you can find his music here www.michaellogozar.com

My big thanks also goes to Miloš Brunclík and Dušan Ratica for their supervision and valuable advices.
